Natural soaps and hand cream workshop at A Touch of Craft Yorkshire

Join Rachael from Wharfedale Soaps to create a range of natural soaps and hand cream bars

We'll start this workshop creating six beautiful soaps using Shea Butter melt and pour soap base (SLS free) along with a range of essential oils and botanicals.

Firstly we'll create pretty Sunshine Soaps.  These pale orange soaps are scented with a blend of orange, may chang and grapefruit essential oils. Dried marigold petal are added to impart mild exfoliating properties and look lovely too!

Then we'll create three lavender and rosemary gardener's scrub soaps.  These are coloured with dried nettle leaf powder and contain exfoliating poppy seeds to help thoroughly cleanse the skin.

Finally we will create soothing hand cream bars.  These luxurious bars are created from a blend of unrefined cocoa butter, beeswax, shea butter and coconut oil blended with your choice of essential oil (from a range of rose geranium, peppermint and lavender).  Once set, the hand cream bars are wrapped in a reusable beeswax wrap.  These bars are extremely long lasting, to use them simply rub directly onto dry skin.

At the end of the workshop there will be time to individually gift wrap each soap, making them perfect as gifts and even better as a treat for yourself!

Tea / Coffee and biscuits are all included in the workshop price. 

Please note this workshop is unsuitable for children under 12 years. 

Please bring an apron. 

This workshop will be held at  A Touch of Craft, Springfield Mill, Spa Street, Ossett. WF5 0HW.  Please note, to access the workshop space you will need to climb a flight of stairs.

Booking & Cancellation policy

Your booking is secured by payment. Please note there is strictly no refund (or moving to a different workshop) if cancellation is up to 14 days before the event. If a cancellation is at least 15 days before the event a full refund will be given.  If we need to cancel the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances we will aim to give as much notice as possible and a full refund. Unfortunately we cannot accept any liability for travel or other costs.
